What is Homemaking:

Trained staff provide light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, meal preparation, general cleaning, and some grocery shopping.

 

This may be combined with Personal Care, and Respite Care services, which may include bathing, hygiene, hair care or social stimulation.

Who can use this service: 

Any senior, or if you are an adult with a physical disability living in Central and northern Etobicoke, and any senior living in Malton or Brampton.

This Service is available days and evenings.

How this service works: 

A regular schedule will be arranged, usually with the same Personal Support Worker (PSW) coming at the agreed day and time each week.

Clients communicate with our office staff to request changes to schedules or to make other inquiries.

Wait times vary depending on the needs of the client.  Please call for more information.

How to request this service: 

Please contact our office and a Community Care Manager will come to your home to conduct a FREE home assessment.  We will develop a plan of care by discussing the individual needs with the client, and caregivers or family members of their choice.
