If you or a family member have used a CANES program or service, we would love to have you on our Client and Family Advisory Committee.
We are looking to recruit 10-12 clients and caregivers for this committee and hope to hold our first meeting in November.
As a committee member, your ideas, feedback, and input will be used to improve our care. You will be required to attend quarterly meetings at the CANES head office and are asked to serve a two-year term. Please note that CANES will provide transportation to clients and caregivers should it be required.
We are currently seeking new members for the Client and Family Service Advisory Committee. Priority will be given to clients and family members who identify as part of an equity-deserving community (for example: people who identify as indigenous, a person of colour, a member of the LBGT2Q+ community, a person living with a disability). It is also important for us to have fair representation from across our programs and therefore the decision to select committee members will be based on these criteria.
