CANES Community Care (CANES) would celebrated this year’s 9th Annual Community Engagement Forum. This Annual Forum engages our clients, partners and funders to openly discuss the services and programs that are offered by CANES.
This year's session allowed participants to share their ideas of what services they like, and what services they would like to see improved in their community. This year’s theme focussed on Home at Last - An In depth look into our Transitional Care Program. There was a presentation made by one of CANES' Board members on the topic of our new Transitional Care Program, as well as a Client's speech about her experience with the new program. Later in the morning, there was a workshop followed by an awards luncheon. Furthermore, we highlighted the valued input from last years forum, and shared what we have accomplished to date.
There was also a few speeches from a few notable Local MPP's in regards to the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant that was awarded to CANES Community Care in 2017 to help fund our Community Outreach Program, Sara Singh, MPP for Brampton Centre, and Kevin Yarde, MPP Brampton North. Those who attended were CANES Clients, Staff, our Partners and Stakeholders. Everyone was grateful for their kind words spoken at our event.
