CANES Community Care was back to celebrate another successful Charity Golf Classic on Thursday September 23rd at Lionhead Golf and Country Club, and we hope that you enjoyed this year’s event. As this was our 15th year, as we missed last year, (among many other events due to COVID-19) We greatly appreciate your participation and generous contribution in support of this fundraising event.
As a CANES sponsor, you were a part of an event that raises funds to support CANES frontline activities to help seniors maintain their independence so that they can continue living at home. To date you have helped us raise over $75,000 over the years, to support our clients. Your company will be advertised and promoted below as an appreciation and recognition for your continued support. Please enjoy a few photos and moments from the day! Below, you can find a link to our CANES Facebook Page where, more photos will be uploaded. - Don't forget to Like Us!
Our theme this year was RYDER CUP. In year's past we've had a number of different themes, that included World Cup, Vintage Era, Florescent Colours and even the 80's. We try to encourage players to dress in part to promote our theme. We hope you enjoyed supporting either the USA or Europe as we participated in our tournament at Lionhead in Brampton this year during the actual RYDER event that was held in the Straits course at Whistling Straits, Haven, Wisconsin. The United States clinched the 2021 Ryder Cup on Sunday the 25th after rookie Collin Morikawa secured the final half point to get to a 19-9 victory, which is the largest margin of victory in Ryder Cup history since the 28-point format came about.
A Congratulations goes out to this year's RYDER CUP theme Champions CONTINENTAL DECAL who were -6 on the day at Lionhead's Masters Course. Your team will be forever etched into the CANES Charity Golf Classic Trophy for years to come.
Congratulations to our Contest Winners
