The New CANES Community Connector helps to cover topics in the community that relate to you, and what is happening within your service agency.  Get to know your Community Connector!

This section covers any information that revolves around CANES Programs and Services, such as Homemaking, Home at Last, Home Maintenance or Seniors Luncheons.  Find out what new services CANES has to offer, and what up to date information we are already offering our clients.

This section will help you to keep informed of any health related news that may affect the health and well being of our clients.  Often, this section will offer tips on safety in the home, or health and nutritional information that may be useful.

This section informs you on what’s happening within your community, covering events or news that may come from CANES.  This will allow clients to be aware of upcoming event invitations, or any community involvement in which you may choose to participate. 

This section will be a mini-editorial, often written by the editor of the Community Connector.  These editorials will be written as a “food for thought” style of format on topics that relate to seniors and the community.  The topics will be humorous, thoughtful, and definitely close to home, allowing you to relate to subjects you may have once thought about, but not expressed.

This section informs you about important information that may, or may not have been mentioned throughout the newsletter.  Such information as new phone numbers, or important dates that you might need to remember.  This way, all the important details are in one place, so you don’t have to search through the newsletter for detailed information.
