The 2011 Donna Cansfield MPP, Community Recognition Awards

Each year, Donna Cansfield, MPP Etobicoke Centre, Recognizes individuals and groups who make a difference in the community. 

Nominations are recognized in four different categories;

1. Outstanding volunteer service to the community by youth

2.  Outstanding volunteer service to seniors

3.  Outstanding volunteer service to the community

4.  Outstanding service by professional staff, employers or employees

This year, 4 employees of CANES Community Care were nominated for an award.

Award recipients were honoured at Donna's Holiday Levee on January 15, 2012 at Neilson Park Creative Centre.

Below, CANES CEO, Gord Gunning (second from left) and Board Members Ron Groshaw (far left) and Hans Gupta (far right) came to support their employees for putting forth such a strong effort to making their community a better place to live for clients and seniors.
