CANES Raises Agency Record for United Way!

Every October CANES Community Care joins the United Way Campaign to help raise money for community services and other support programs for the less fortunate within the GTA.  United Way funds many of our Care Services that we offer to our clients, so each year with the help of employee donations, and a popular Bake Sale we have surpassed all donation records with a whopping $8,500.83.  We set our goal of $8,500.00 back in late October when the campaign began, and with great participation we met our goal.  Congratulations to all those who helped to run the campaign and especially to those who donated for a great cause.

Well done everyone, and by everyone, I mean EVERYONE.  For those who donated less, and those more,all donations helped in the end as a team effort to reach our record breaking goal.  The Personal Support Workers broke all previous records this year with an excellent participation!  I look forward to next year’s campaign, as it will be a challenge to surpass this year, but I think we can do it, because... United We Can!
